Important Information and FAQ
Starlight Cleaning Co is currently not insured. It is owned and operated by one person, if a job is too big I might hire help, but 98% of the jobs will be done by Alex.
Alex is background check certified by multiple companies, ie. Rover, and Doordash.
Upon Request: I can provide a detailed list of any clean you book. I offer a non-bleach, pet and children safe product option. I just ask that you request these products in your initial booking comment or before the cleaning so I can be prepared.
I bring my own cleaned and disinfected supplies for each and every job.
I take payments by cash, card or apple pay. Full payments should be received within a 12 hour period after a cleaning has been completed. If a payment hasn’t been received by then, I will contact you. If late payments past 48 hours happen 2 times, I will no longer accept bookings from you. Life happens though, I get it. If something happens where you cannot pay within that 12 hour booking, just message me. All I ask for is communication. If payments are always made late, I will request the payment in full or a deposit before I do the clean.
Cancelation policy: I ask that as soon as you need to cancel get in contact with me. Cancel 12-24 hours before the clean time starts. There is a one-time warning. On the second cancellation within a 24 hour period I will charge a $25 inconvenience fee. If for any reason I cannot come to the cleaning, I will offer you the same courtesy, and either refund the deposit or you can choose to use that money for the next booking.

No Show Policy: If a booking has been scheduled, and no information has been given, Starlight Cleaning Co will get in contact with you via phone or email. If I arrive at the house and nobody answers, or no key has been provided, I will get in contact with you. I will wait a designated amount of time before leaving and charging a convenience fee. If this happens twice, I will no longer accept bookings from you.
Handling keys when you’re not home: You can use a lockbox, or I can have a copy of the key. Once again, I am background check certified by Rover and Doordash. If you’re not comfortable with that, you can leave the key under a mat or a rock, and I can put it back when I’m finished. Or I can lock the bottom lock and leave the key inside. Your comfort and peace of mind is of the utmost importance with Starlight Cleaning Co.
You are allowed to be at home when I do the cleaning. I just ask that you’re in a different area while I’m cleaning. Again, your comfort is our priority.
While it’s not required, removing any bottles, towels or countertop appliances before a clean would be a HUGE help! If you’re not able to, please let me know where I can put them.

Things to know: Your home cleaning will be recorded and posted on my social media. No address, names or faces will be disclosed or shown. You will be referred to as “My client” and only the things I clean, mostly the bathroom and kitchen, will be posted.. If you’re not comfortable with this, please let me know. I will not record/post them. Before and After pictures will still be taken for my portfolio and website.
I do not know if you want non-bleach, safe for children or pets products used for your booking unless you tell me.
